District Manager

Cummins Facility Services (CFS) is looking for a District Manager to oversee our services in  Ohio.  CFS offers our clients the convenience of complete facility services with the bulk of the business being in janitorial services.  

Primary Duties

  • Oversight of the day-to-day services to make sure jobs are coming in on budget, with high quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Directly manages accounts and area managers, this includes regular site visits.   
  • Ensure accounts are properly staffed and trained, this includes training of managers and supervisors
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Translate executive management and ownership vision into field operations
  • Promote growth of team members to ensure ‘bench strength’ to include both in-house and outside vendor training to employees
  • Grow the company thru additional sales to new and existing clients.  


  • College Degree Preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Operations Management
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Janitorial and/or floor crew experience preferred


Janitors are responsible for properly cleaning and maintaining the facility in accordance with contract requirements. Some of the tasks include:

  • Perform standard janitorial duties such as dusting, detailing, vacuuming, sanitizing, and cleaning restrooms, common areas, and windows.
  • Empty trash receptacles and perform detailed custodial functions including floor care.
  • Clean tabletops, fixtures, file cabinets, desks, dividers, partitions, entry doors, walls and surfaces to ensure that they are free from dust and dirt.
  • Clean, service, and police all restrooms, offices, lobby, hallways, classrooms and cafeterias.
  • Stock supply dispensers in restrooms and ensure that all shelves and surfaces are clean and dry.
  • Ensure that glass mirrors and interior and exterior doors are free from smudges, stains, discoloration, rust, mold, encrustation, excess moisture or spots.
  • Ensure that designated areas are vacuumed, swept and mopped.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs consistently.

Floor Technician

Cummins Facility Services is currently seeking to hire Floor Technicians for the Marion, Ohio area.

  • Experience in carpet cleaning, running a stripper, floor finish & buffer is a must!
  • Wages are depending on experience, position, and location.
  • This position requires oral and written communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • The ideal candidate must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Pass a background check and a drug test.

HR Manager

CFS is hiring a Human Resources Manager. This position will be based out of the Marion, Ohio area.

The position oversees the following areas of Human Resources: training, worker’s compensation, and employee relations.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assists managers and supervisors on employee counseling
  • Responds to unemployment compensation claims
  • Responds to harassment complaints
  • Responds to employee complaints as part of the conflict resolution policy.
  • Coordinates worker’s compensation and responds to injuries/accidents
  • Ensures employees are up to date on Hazcom and BBP training. Also ensures management staff completes additional annual training.
  • Ensures the Drug Free policy is followed including monthly random testing
  • Trains staff as needed including through conference calls and at the annual employee meeting
  • Maintains and updates the Employee Handbook and HR policies.
  • Completes exit interviews for both career and hourly staff members.
  • Ensures legal compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Responds to OSHA investigations and maintains OSHA compliance
  • Coordinates Safety function and leads Safety Committee
  • Reports company vehicle accidents to insurance company
  • Other duties as needed
